The last week of October brings the kind of community calendar we love: creative, outdoorsy, family-friendly, and easy to fold into a normal coastal week. Orange Beach has several fall gatherings on the schedule, from glass and pottery demonstrations to trick-or-treating along the trail.

You can enjoy the big beach events here, but you can also spend a Tuesday night playing pickleball, walking a park, or getting to know the neighbors. That mix is a big part of what makes the coast feel like home.

Arts Afire at the Coastal Arts Center

The annual Arts Afire Fall Festival is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach. The city lists hot-glass demonstrations, pottery raku firings, kids' fall games, music, crafts, treats, face painting, and a pet costume contest at 6 p.m. The event is free, and the arts center is located at 26389 Canal Road.

More Fall Fun Around Orange Beach

The Orange Beach fall calendar also includes the Senior Center's chili cook-off on Wednesday, October 28, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by Treats on the Trail on Friday, October 30, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Orange Beach Sportsplex Trailhead. Expect trick-or-treating, games, s'mores, and plenty of chances for kids and grown-ups to enjoy the season outside. Check the City of Orange Beach event update for the latest details.

Buyer Takeaway

Community amenities matter most when they become part of everyday life. If you are moving to the coast, pay attention to parks, trails, sports facilities, arts programming, libraries, and the drive to the places you will use week after week. A beach address is wonderful; a neighborhood that supports your actual routine is even better.
